One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus

There is something kind of lonesome about a dusty, country road when there aren't any cars around, especially if you happen to see an abandoned pup whimpering his way along the ditch. So, being the puppy lover that you are, you stop the car, woo the little guy over, and then tenderly place him in the curve of your arm. Then you say to him, "Hmm. Looks like I have found a good friend. You too, eh?" Ahhh, the care, the joy, the love - it takes the sting right out of the loneliness.
